Piet Hein Eek signs his bookNow, after 16 years of designing, sketching, thinking, planing, searching, welding, painting, talking, writing, sanding, punching, upholstering, veneering, milling, gluing, chopping, folding, pouring, baking, building, converting, calling, discussing, dictating, waiting, sawing, more sawing, buying, selling, negotiating, instructing and woodworking, Piet Hein is coming to sign “his” book with us!It’s all in there. How Piet Hein started out, together with Nob Ruygrok, in an old factory building in Geldrop. While they were still students, they would paint houses together and refurbish them to make some money. And they still work together today: Nob is the quiet force in the background, Piet the out-and-out designer. The book is overwhelming in its presentation of the endless quantity of unique products that literally and figuratively stream out of the factory, and is moving when you realise the amount of love with which every detail and moment has been photographed by Nob in a stunning manner. Saturday 7 October from 2 to 4 p.m., Piet Hein Eek will be signing his book with us. We look forward to seeing you there. |
